Memorial Mosaic for School Teacher

I had the honor of helping a school preserve the memory of a creative and artistic teacher who passed earlier in the year. She taught reading and worked with the National Junior Honor Society students at Jason Lee Middle School in Vancouver. Her stained glass is installed at the school, and she worked with kids on their own glass projects as well.
After meeting with her husband, I was able to come up with this design idea, and for three days I worked with a small group of students. The completed mural now hangs in the school to remember the spirit of this memorable lady.
